Make an interactive Flag Book

This playful structure allows for the inclusion of text, images, photographs or a combination. It is a moveable structure that can create a narrative flowing in different directions.

Toolkit

Cutting mat, craft knife/scalpel, bone folder, ruler, pencil, scissors.

Accordion – Piece of thick paper or light card approx. 120-160 gsm Size: 20x33cm

Cover boards – 1.5-2mm thick board. 2 pieces 20x10cm

Decorative paper for covers – outside: 2 pieces 23x13cm. Inside: 2 pieces 19x9cm

Strips of card (for flags) approx. 120-160gsm (cereal box type weight) Approx 3 A4 sheets to cut

Double sided tape

Please also bring your pens or small images to decorate the final structure.

 

Cutting mats craft knife/scalpel, bone folder, for use in the session, will be charged at £3.50 per kit (to keep tools updated and replaced).

If you require the materials for the books rather than bringing your own then the cost will be £7.50

Refreshments:
Tea and coffee are provided (we request a small donation), however, there are no local food provisions so we advise you bring a packed lunch with you.
